Only On 1 List
Favs/dislikes: 8:0. This list is a list of all the checks that are only on 1 official list. The exceptions are the imdb lists (due to them frequently changing) and the Unesco list (due to list size restrictions). I hope this is useful to someone other than just me! As of 1st Nov 2012 all films are in 1 list only. If for some reason they are showing in 0 or more than 1 list then they must have been added or removed from 1 or more lists since the list was created! -

List of Science Fiction Films
Favs/dislikes: 26:0. This is a list of science-fiction films organized chronologically. These films have been released to a cinema audience by the commercial film industry and are widely distributed with reviews by reputable critics. This includes silent film–era releases, serial films, and feature-length films. All of the films include core elements of science fiction, but can cross into other genres such as drama, mystery, action, horror, fantasy, and comedy. Among the listed movies are films that have won motion-picture and science-fiction awards as well as films that have been listed among the worst movies ever made, or have won one or more Golden Raspberry Awards. This list also contains additional sci-fi films that were missing from wikipedia's list. This list is useful if looking for a sci-fi film that is on an official icm list. Just sort the list by number of official lists. -

1001 movies you must see before you die (all editions)
Favs/dislikes: 49:0. The famous book of Schneider "1001 movies you must see before you die" has several editions. Every few years a new edition is published with new titles (after removing some other titles). Also there are editions especially for a certain country with additional titles from that country. In this list I'll try to collect as many titles as possible that were in at least one edition of this book. So far I included, apart from the obvious English editions (rank 1-1109), the Dutch (rank 1110-1120), the Swedish (rank 1121-1143), the Greek (rank 1144-1185), the Norwegian (rank 1186-1192), the Finnish (rank 1193-1211), the Danish (rank 1212-1217), the Brazilian (rank 1218-1229) and the Hungarian (rank 1230-1235) editions. I found information about the Portuguese, Spanish, Slovanian, Croatian, Turkish and Polish editions, but these didn't have additional titles. I’ll search for more editions. If you’ve got information about any other, please let me know. -
Tim Dirks' The History of Sex in Cinema
Favs/dislikes: 33:0. The following listing of these influential, memorable and classic sex scenes and films (chronologically by year) takes into account all of the available surveys of this type of material, and attempts to provide an informed, detailed, unranked grouping of the most influential and groundbreaking films and scenes. It also considers other films with sex-related scenes, including portrayals of sex and/or nudity, and factors in a film's (or scene's) notoriety and infamy and the stars involved. Some of the most notorious (or infamous) films are quite mediocre, usually made as an excuse to display nudity or eroticism of a star performer. -

Favs/dislikes: 31:2. "Kino International was founded in 1977 as a theatrical distribution company specializing in classics and foreign language art films." -
