Much better than the Friday the 13th remake, that's for sure. It was all going mostly well until the last 30 mins or so, don't like how Freddy now likes to continuously slam people against things and make them do crazy flips. Considering how much stuff can be done with the character, I would have liked to have seen more of his transformations/manipulations, maybe in the sequel perhaps. Good use of that old song though. And it shouldn't have tried many of the slight comic lines in there, like the rehashing of the wet dream line, but with less sense to it than when it was originally used. I prefer Robert. This might be the best Freddy movie, since it's the only one I felt sleep with.

Thought it might have been decent but I was wrong - absolutely terrible. Falls in with all of the other '80s horror movie remakes that I've seen, that being that none of them have pulled off anything even close to the originals. 12 years 3 months ago
