Interestingly enough, I found this (again definitely overlong and even more) talkative drama epic to be more accessible than his two previous films, Once Upon... & Winter Sleep; so much that I begin to question my earlier notion that those were overrated works, maybe just because I too much expected them to be Turkish Tarkovskis back then.
I wonder if other viewers of NBC (Ceylan is not a news channel!) made a similar experience, as of now I seem to belong to a minority. 3 years 5 months ago
