This is an odd film, almost a documentary of a feisty Russian grandmother visiting her Army Captain grandson at his camp in Chechna.. She seems very out-of-place there. The townspeople do not like the soldiers, but the ladies bond immediately with Alesandra. She and her grandson spend some touching moments together.
