   Very disturbing in the fact that home invasions are really happening around us. The movie taps into a fear brought on by simply watching the news and not by reading mythology.    When I read people's comment here I think most of you have misunderstood the movie. Several call it a horrible movie and some call it the worst ever. Have you seen an Adam Sandler movie in the last 10 years, have you seen Fifty Shades etc? This film is far from perfect, but it's a courageous movie that several times breaks the Fourth wall to us, the viewers. I find this unique. Michael Haneke is a genius. 6 years 3 months ago

   This movie was a complete mindfuck

   the remote control scene, where he rewinds time and prevents his buddy from dying.... what even...

   - I haven't actually seen the original but I would NOT watch it, frankly this version disturbed me enough already - with its skillful suspension of disbelief (most of the time), its fairly rational and competent characters - its just messed up. 6 years 4 months ago
