Movielicious
This was initially going to be a Lovecraft movie, but the director didn't quite get his way there, presentation-wise. It is more an adaptation of The Case of Charles Dexter Ward than any of Poe's work. Mediocre stuff, but well worth a watch if you like Lovecraft, Poe and Vincent Price. 9 years ago -

If you are a true fan of Roger Corman or Vincent Price you will be delighted by this piece. It is indeed inspired by the short novel "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward" but the atmosphere is more Poe-esque. Lon Chaney Jr. is excellent as well! 3 years 10 months ago
