Barbara Standwyck is so stiff in this movie. Her usual gusto and flair are no where to be seen here. Joseph Cotten gives a good performance. Leslie Caron is always wrapped in a cape or shawl from head to toe which makes it hard to view her beautiful features. The plot is good with a somewhat disappointing climax. 12 years ago
