100 Classic Martial Arts Films is made by Wei Jun Zi for Sohu.com.

Wei Jun Zi is a Chinese Film Critic, who had published several books about Hong Kong cinema(A History of Hong Kong Films, The Great Wuxia Master...)

Yay! Thanks for lists.

On a different note: The list "Jane Fonda films" is showing up as an official list. (I noticed this because "Klute" is in the "More Noirs" list.)

Ditto for the list "Henry Fonda" (spotted because "You Only Live Once," "Daisy Kenyon" and "The Fugitive" also show up among the "More Noirs" titles).

Great new official list additions, Guys! It adds that bit of diversity of films that I felt was severely missing: action and martial arts.

Can I use this opportunity to suggest 4 things that would greatly improve this site?

1. Tool: Order by "Most Favorited". Would be great for lists that have popular movies and little seen movies, because you could see what little seen movies have a high "favorited percentage". Use the same formula as the Most Favorite list.

2. There are Official Lists and Personal Lists, but there should also be a separate "tab" for Personal lists that you favorited. For example, The Truman Show is on 325 personal lists, but I want to quickly know if it is on my favorited Personal lists, such as Ex-Top1000 (which should never become an official list, but one that I still want to follow).

3. Stop searches from going directly to a movie page. Example: if you type Netflix, it goes directly to a page for a random short video. This makes it hard for people to see lists about Netflix. Yes, I have a list about Netflix, but this happens with other searches. I don't remember the other instances, sadly.

4. A year in review feature: highlight the most favorited and checked movies each year. The details of this would have to be decided, but it would be cool to know which movies (especially older movies) had gotten a lot of favorites (unexpectedly) or gone from being on few Official Lists to a bunch of Official Lists.

I hope this comment is okay. I love this site :)

I second a way to show a that you have favorited and/or followed a list on the lists tab on a movie's page.

And please-please-please add a way to block or hide lists. For example, does anyone but "RandomUser" care about "RandomUser's Movies I Own but Haven't Watched" list?

Oh, and if we are making wishes now :) :

Dear Santa

I really want to easily find a list, which contains 2-3 movies I have chosen. And a movie, which is on a few particular lists.

Love You

Aquilla

(Yes, I know, this is a bit harder, you have to make a special GUI for it etc. But I'm only wishing) :D

I just wish that all the "Runtime" fields were properly filled in. Or at least, a much higher percentage of them.

The source links for the "More Noir" and "Action!" lists link back to their iCheckMovies pages in a sort of dizzying circle.

Is that because there aren't websites or web pages available to link for those two lists?

edit: I am also still seeing random "official" lists showing up for some film titles, as I mentioned in previous comment.

Here is an illustration in case I wasn't very clear before (and I apologize for the sizing issue):
