@Monty: I don't think that the Cesar are a very good selection of great French films. There is a lot of popular stuff, and the great early films or the interesting dark films of Pialat or Carax are not represented.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs list is not too bad: http://www.listsofbests.com/list/20895-the-french-ministry-of-foreign-affairs-top-french-films
It would be great to find a French list from the Cahiers du cinema or Positif; that would be a more informed and interesting list.
Thanks for the new lists. I think the next award lists to be added could be:
David di Donatello (http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/David_di_Donatello_Awards/)
Caesar Award (http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/C%E9sar_Awards_France/)
European Film Award (http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/European_Film_Awards/)
Cannes Gran Prix
Cannes Jury Prize
BAFTA Best Foreign Movie
@Nine99 Thanks for the suggestions. As for the comparison feature request: in iCM 2.0 it'll be much easier to see what you've checked next to another one's checks.
Another thing I've asked a few times, I hope I'm not bugging you too much with that: A comparison like on http://www.listsofbests.com/, so you can look at a list and see both your checked movies and the ones of your friend (right now you only can see the total watched movies of the lists or just generally compare movies). So you could look at a list and choose movie from it that you and the other guy haven't seen and stuff like that. Thanks for the update.
The Italian list has only movies from 1942-1978. Maybe you could add this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_di_Donatello_for_Best_Film which I mentioned along some other country-specific lists here http://www.icheckmovies.com/blog/country-specific+top+lists/page+3/ .

I don't want the imdb bottom to appear on this site, there's already enough crap because of the worldwide box office list.sweetchildren
