The column is in style somewhat similar to the now late Roger Eberts “Great Movies”, a stated inspiration for Montages’ “Coup de Cœur”.

This list was published on their site in seven parts in January and February of 2010. This top 100-list includes 103 films as in the original list The Lord of the Rings-trilogy, and the Kill Bill-films where only given one list spot each.

Schmidt, published in 2008. The list is first and foremost a presentation of lots of evidence that Norwegian film is better than it's reputation.

The award have mainly been tied to a person (or sometimes two) that have contributer to Norwegian film in the previous year. People that have worked behind, or in front of, the camera. But the award have always been awarded for the work in a specific film (or in a few chases two films). With the only exception in 1956, when the award was given to Ivo Caprino for his animated short films based on fairy tales.

    Favs/dislikes: 2:0. Wam & Vennerød er benevnelsen på en norsk film-duo, Petter Vennerød og Svend Wam, som produserte og regisserte en rekke norske filmer mellom 1975 og 1995. De fleste av deres filmer hadde et mørkt dramapreg, men også noen komedier føyer seg inn i rekken. Betegnelsen Wam & Vennerød var ofte ensbetydende med filmer som befattet seg med sosialrealisme og hadde en dyster tone og dramatisk slutt. Selv om de ofte blir husket for å lage kalkuner, ble flere av filmene deres godt mottatt både i sin samtid av både kritikere og publikum. Duoen proklamerte seg selv som anarkister, og var bestemt på å lage filmer som skilte seg fra klassiske norske dramaer og komedier.
