This page shows you the list charts. By default, the movies are ordered by how many times they have been marked as a favorite. However, you can also sort by other information, such as the total number of times it has been marked as a dislike.
Films that I really like but are not (currently) found on any official ICM lists. NOTE: this list was made in 2012 and since then over half of the films have made it onto official lists. I've kept the list as it is, just to track if and when they all make it!
Stories about growing up. Bildungsroman. Some are simple and sweet, others stunted, delayed, or disturbing. Sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, sports, war, divorce, religion, depression, punk, drought, graduation, lazy summers, first loves, death, puberty, domineering parents - these are the hazards and catalysts of change.
A personal list with relatively short films (under 80 minutes) on official lists, that seem to be available online and in many cases have YouTube links in the comments on ICM. For that purpose I made the list public and will try to add recent links to anything I come across for other users to enjoy.
Keep in mind that this is no best of as I haven't even seen these films. Nor does it aim to be complete since for practical purposes I delete movies as soon as I've seen them. But feel free to check some short movies while they're here ;-)
That means that in the end there will only be a handful of 80 minutes movies left. Not exactly shorts, I know. But then the list will have fulfilled it's purpose.

My personal favourites. It's 150, because that's basically all the good films I've seen, but they're in order, so that's nice and everything. A lot of people seem to dislike this list, which is quite cool I s'pose. It'd be interesting to know why people disagree with it rather than just that people disagree with it, so leave a comment (if you're bothered).
The history of horror is vast and perhaps a list of the 200 greatest horror films is a foolhardy thing to tackle. I’ve been watching horror movies since I was a very young kid and I think it is safe to say that I’ve watched more than the average person. Yet, as hard as I try, there are still many films that I still haven’t seen... It is impossible to make a definitive list of the best horror films but what follows is a list of my personal 150 favorite horror films of the 20th century accompanied by a few special mentions, mostly documentaries, short films and a few features that some people would qualify as horror, but really aren’t.
Always wanted a movie theater with that name, but this will have to do for now. I never went to film school, but lists like 1001 must see and 1000 TSPDT have been mine. It is a life goal to get as high on the rankings of this as possible while hopefully making some of my own that will make it on a few people's list someday soon.
Until then, I hope you all enjoy the several Multiple Personalities that are my favorite choices obviously shows that I have. :-)
Anytime a movie wows me with dialogue, it goes here. Sometimes it's just a scene or two, sometimes the whole shebang. Screwball comedies to film noirs and anything in between. Added as I remember/watch them, unordered.
