Jean Dujardin was amazing in the artist. And the Artist should win best picture, THOUGH The Help should also be another front runner and Moneyball was phenomenal. Midnight in Paris is the first Woody Allen movie I have ever seen and I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I do believe the story of Hugo seemed the most appealing to me. Here are my picks:
Best Picture: The Artist
Best Director: Martin Scorsese (Hugo)
Best Actor: Jean Dujardin (The Artist)
Best Actress: Rooney Mara (Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo)
Supporting Actor: Jonah Hill (Moneyball)
Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer (The Help)
Best Music (Original Score): The Artist
Makeup: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2
Costume Design: Anonymous
Cinematography: Hugo
Film Editing: Hugo
Writing Original Screenplay: Midnight in Paris
Art Direction: Midnight in Paris
Documentary Short: The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom
Foreign Language Film: A Seperation
Animated Feature Film: Rango
Writing Adapted Screenplay: Moneyball
Short Film Animated: The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore
Sound Editing: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Sound Mixing: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Visual Effects: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2
Documentary Feature: Hell and Back Again
Music Animated Film: "Man or a Muppet" The Muppets
