No one has completed this list yet because two of the films were never released on video, and can only be viewed by appointment at the University of California, Los Angeles.

I've been working on this list for a long time now. The worst part is a lot of these lack proper availability, which is strange since being an Academy Award nominated film is supposed to guarantee that you get to be preserved. A lot of these never even got a proper DVD release.

Youtube user WestLynne has uploaded a fairly complete copy of East Lynne that is the n99 upload with the last reel added. The quality is not good, but I am choosing to accept this as a copy that is complete enough to check off the list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6_xXp8etko
I wish they would work on restoring The White Parade.

East Lynne is available on the Internet, with the last 12 minutes missing.

I withdraw my quibble. I see now that these are alphabetical within their years.

You don't see the value in having a list of nominees which were supposedly the Best 5 movies (or 10, or 3) of their respective years?

I guess you agree with every decision the academy has ever made, then, eh? By all means, "Shakespeare in Love" is a far better movie than "Saving Private Ryan". "Pulp Fiction" and "Shawshank Redemption" have nothing on "Forrest Gump". History has clearly shown that "How Green Was My Valley" is a far better movie than "Citizen Kane" or "Maltese Falcon".

this year's 31 Days of Oscar on TCM has helped me watch SO MANY of these in the last two weeks and many more in the next two weeks. Wonderful.

Awesome. I was just yesterday thinking that this list should be a thing. Of course I've seen much much fewer of these films than I thought I had, but at least now I know what to watch without having to go on wikipedia.

A new user has now completed this list, obviously by cheating.I reported the user.

The lost Patriot (1928) film was removed, so I guess it's possible to earn a Platinum on this list now, even though no one has done it yet.

What does it hurt to have them all together?
