1) The list is never changing, unlike the shorts list
2) Links to every movie are easily available online, and even featured on this site
3) All are like 7 minutes long or so
4) Most of them are easy-viewing

The Betty Boop ones are amazing, it's the Clampett stuff that the list is overloaded with. No Russian animation at all is just a crime.

But would you really call "Hedgehog in the fog" a cartoon? This list is fine for what it is.

What a lame list. It's a shame it virtually doesn't include European or Russian or Japanese animation, you name it. Is "The Cat Came Back" really better than "The Hedgehog in the Fog"? Does "Rabbit of Seville" with its violence-filled slapstick surpass Zbigniew Rybczynski's "Tango" or Raoul Servais' "Siren"? If you look for a definitive list of world's animation, you'd better try Beltessassar's collection.
