Letterboxd's Top 250 movies, based on the average weighted rating of all Letterboxd users. I removed all stand-up specials, concert films, documentaries, shorts, 'collection listings' and other 'rarities', so only feature length narrative movies are listed here.

To avoid any discussions about documentary or not, Letterboxd genre classifications are used to remove them.

The oldest movie on the list is Charlie Chaplin's The Kid, released in 1921. The most popular decades in the list are the 1950's and 1960's, both with 39 entries. A complete overview:
