A naive and reckless main character hits it up with a complete moron with criminal connections... sounds like Breaking Bad Season 1 so far...
For a movie that is based on a true story, the characters are extremely shallow and uninteresting, as the filmmakers and actors unfortunately failed to explore the psychology and motives behind the characters.
