I was always interested in Elijah Wood playing such a character in Sin City and this continues that same effect more powerfully because, after all, it's Frodo Baggins playing Gollum with mother issues. I've not seen the original yet but this is an example of a remake that's actually pretty well executed and powerful. 11 years 6 months ago -

Better than average. The POV shots which make up most of the film are very interesting, and Elijah Wood's character is given more depth than is common in these kinds of films. However, I wish it had dug a bit deeper, and I didn't find it to be "scary." If it was at all meant to be. 9 years ago
