It tries to tackle being a spy thriller with splashes of comedy and family drama but ends up falling flat on all levels. Costner is uninspired and just acting for the paycheck. Maybe 15 years ago it would have passed as a decent thriller but it just recycled so many of the same concepts and plot points that we've seen time and time again.
Mindless action, drama, comedy. Leads are good and the action is ok (just barely) and the supplot about the father daughter too predictable.....but still more entertaining that the main plot....still don't know why these people had too be killed...besides being bad :-)
