   I had massively lowered expectations for this after all the bad reviews, which may be why I thought it was OK. Far too much Mater, but aside from him the espionage stuff was pretty fun.
   
   Mercifully shorter and faster-paced than the first film, I think I probably enjoyed this more. 12 years 6 months ago

   The problem I've had with Cars is it was Pixar's weakest film, it's not their best but it's enjoyable, but this sequel just ruins anything someone could enjoy about the series. The first all being about following McQueen on a somewhat relatable journey sounds fun, but this whole second one is nothing but, "FOR THE KIDS!" with action and agents and even throwing the word 'kill' around like no tomorrow.
   
   In short the only reason this film exists is to push the franchise for more merchandising to the point where it's disgusting. 10 years 9 months ago
