Pretty great. Certainly one of the best films I've seen this year. The screenplay, the performances, the simple and unobtrusive manner it is filmed. Its spot on, great cinema. It also reminds me of why I love great foreign films. They provide a window into a culture I am not accustomed to and the best of them, i.e. this film, don't explain everything to you but instead are intelligent enough to give you just enough information for you to figure out the cultural differences that make this drama work. 12 years 11 months ago -

This is the type of movie that could have been made anywhere. That is actually a plus, because you relate to the characters. The real positive thing about this movie is each character has a good reason why they are in their tragic situation. You root for each character.
