This movie is actually pretty good. Officially it's a 'film noir drama' and there certainly is a dramatic plot and also some romance and cute little Lars-Erik and of course there's (drum roll) an awesome Conrad Veidt. I mean who could blame Joan Crawford's character
A big minus for the b/w cinematography - I think it would be wonderful to see Joan's perfect face, the scenery (snowy mountains, waterfalls) and Conrad's blue eyes in colour. Not me. I'm only upset that he so often played villains. 10 years 11 months ago -
