Terrific movie. Call it art or pornography (it functions as both), but we need more intelligent, well-crafted, truly adult films like this and it's sad that there have been so few made.
I agree with mightysparks. The first half of the movie seems like the "story" was only a bad excuse for sex scenes. The second half showed what the real intention of the movie is, however: It made also clear that the only reason why this is a canonized movie is the fact that it was/is very scandalous for a non porno, but a scandalous movie is not always equally art. In my opinion a waste of time.
I didn't like it. Ok there is some beautiful cinematography, here and there; but eventually, I only felt that I had spent one hour and a half with sick people.
Average japanese softcore, nothing special. They fuck giant octopuses' in their porns,now that's what I call classic though. I wonder whether this movie is listed on iafd.
