I feel like this one, more than any of the previous serious, showcased his growing ability to use elements of film noir in his film. This is one that I think could have been adapted into a full length film- and doubtless can if you revamp it for a nice neo-noir film and add a little more character development and subplot. Something I'd like to explore.
