Being from South America, my jaw dropped when some executive said "let's show that we can attract foreign investment". I mean, that is what we're used to listen in my home country, waiting from USA to come and invest. Having the gringos calling for Chinese investment (and what it means for workers in both sides)... Just wow

This is an insightful look into the struggling Midwestern United States. It also showcases the massive culture clash between two great powers.

A gripping portrait of the small town struggles of Americans who are dependent on factory work to live and the struggles they face when a foreign-owned company tries to import their work culture into a pro-union environment.

A Chinese billionaire aspires to create an American subsidiary of a Chinese company run by Americans.
It's an impossible and preposterous challenge.
Who was he lying to? His employees? His management team? Himself?
The movie leaves that question up to you. It provides no answers. Only heartbreak for all involved.
