Oddball mash-up of It's a Wonderful Life and Run Lola Run. Like much of Luc Besson's output, this film is not without its fair share of problems, but it's gloriously lit and photographed; whilst the main pairing of Jamel Debbouze and the rarely-seen Rie Rasmussen were engaging throughout. I have had this in my DVD library for years, only now I've seen it and it was worth the wait.
I genuinely think this is a film that has the power to give life affirmation. That scene where Angela is giving him a pep talk in the mirror, that is beauty right there. 11 years 8 months ago -
