So I have finally seen part one of the trilogy as well. Stable family entertainment.

What a horrible movie! I think the idea of the minimoy world would've been great if literally anyone else had made it. Even a first year animation student could've done better. The storytelling was paced horribly, written horribly, the acting was stale and overdone, and the mouth movements didn't even match up to what was being said (day one of studying animation in any art school...this is BASIC). The only relief in this movie was the brief appearance of David Bowie.

My biggest complaint about this movie is the Finnish dubbing. It's very unlike real Finnish and because of that it feels so unnatural and fake.
