I respect what Panahi's going for, but I found the film tedious after a while. Unfortunately Netflix reveals the central 'twist' in their description, so that might have affected my experience.
took quite a turn in the middle, which kinda bumped it up a notch. I couldn't help but think how much the rest of the film was still scripted. I haven't found anything to confirm how much is scripted after the turn, but it would be interesting to hear about.
