   The movie surely is made on epic scale, but some elements pull down the excellence, most of which were included to lure and woo the home audiences.

   I avoided it for two years but finally decided to watch it because it won the Golden Lotus National Award. My fear was justified. It has a decent story somewhere in the core, but the overdramatized approach is too vexing to sit through. Acting makes you cringe and the general style of direction is hollow, preferring style over substance.
   This movie feels odd on the Golden Lotus list and reflects poorly on the recent choices being made by the National Awards committee. 6 years 3 months ago
