   Wonderful Rainbow

   If you watch this with headphones, the carefully designed sound design creates a very peculiar mismatch with the b&w grainy picture, that further emphasises the main theme of old vs new. And in comparison with the Lighthouse, the other b&w fish movie of it's day, I felt that this film succeeded to be more genuine while using a lot less. It didn't try too hard to be a masterpiece, and that's how it came to be one. 2 years 6 months ago
