If your French is good enough, and you like Feuillade, and can get to Paris, it is worth taking allisoncm's advice. I watched it over three days there, by begging the Anne Hathaway lookalike behind the counter to let me in for five hours one day. They didn't charge me a penny (as I was only in Paris for the weekend), though it, as a resource, is worth the subscription fee of €15.

A restored version of Barrabas can be found in Forum des Images' La Salle des collections. You may view the film by purchasing time or for free if you're within a certain age range or a student. http://www.forumdesimages.fr/fdi/Les-collections-de-films/La-Salle-des-collectionsVisit their site for more information and go the next time you are in Paris. They also have the film, Egged On, in their collection.
