The most recent documentary that took Jane Magnusson 3,5 years to produce, about perhaps the greatest director through film history (e.g. the first director ever to get the Palme D'Or in Cannes and get 2 Oscars) - in. his anniversary year 2018 (he should have become 100 years). It's about his most productive year 1957 - when he made for example both Seventh Seal and The Smultron Place - both still on IMDb Top 250)!
Magnusson did not want to do the film from the very beginning when she was asked. A solid work. Comes on Swedish Television in two parts by Christmas 2018 and is then twice as long (4 hours) if you want to see! 5 years 5 months ago
