This movie is pathetic. So for some reason they think they need to bring in two white people because Wesley Snipes was not enough? Wesley Snipes IS Blade. Ryan Reynolds' character is risible and Jessica Biel's is a walking iPod ad. Pathetic.
Despite all the fanboy's horror at St. Blade having to share the action, it's not too bad. Too many lame one-liners from Reynolds' character but the action makes up for it. Purcell is terrible though. Why on earth would Dracula, being able to pick any shape, choose a bad body builder type who can't say anything without looking like he's going to burst an artery? It's a mystery.
Worst anticlimax ever. They spend the entire movie building up Dominic Purcell as the worst bad ass Dracula in history of film making and then he dies like a punk ass bitch pretty much first chance he gets.
This isn't a spoiler because if you couldn't figure that out in 3 minutes of watching the movie, you suck worse than this version of Dracula... and I don't mean in a vampire way.
