"No one will ever bang their heads to this song in a car." Pauses uncomfortably, looks at camera. "Do you get it? I said it wouldn't happen and it did. Do you get it, yet?"

A third of the movie is this, the second third is the following setup. Someone hates a new idea for a song. They hear a snippet of the song. Everyone decides it is, in fact, a great idea for a song. Everyone makes the song. Repeat.

Imagine taking a band like Queen and then making a flat, boring movie from their story.

The Rocketman about Elton is better, if you ask me, but this one is really good too - the acting, the music, interesting.

I like (some) of Queen works and i personally think they are part of the rock history in a way, but this film is absolute rubbish. There are many documentaries about Queen, go and watch some or just watch live shows

Non è la storia dei Queen, non è la storia di Freddie Mercury (almeno non completa e non proprio corretta, non cronologicamente almeno), ma è una bella storia.
Le canzoni sono cantate in playback. La mimica del protagonista è impressionante, anche troppo.

Lots of facts and timeline events slightly askew with this, but it couldn't have been easy trying to pack all the relevant stuff into a movie that's just over 2 hours and do it the justice it deserved. Rami Malek is epic (should win a Best Actor award), at points it was eerily like watching Freddie back from the dead and I wasn't far from tears a few times. If you don't make too much out of the glossed over details, it's a brilliantly entertaining movie that comes highly recommended, with a great cast who take you where the movie wants you to go.

May, UMG and Disney Hollywood records ploy to boost sales, nothing more. The performance by Malek (probably because of the teeth as well) was more distracting than anything else. They're just keeping the Queen IP fresh. Well, they're attempting to.

I knew next to nothing about Queen or Freddy M. and reading the comments apparently there's a lot left to be desired. However, for me, this was fantastic. I spent most of the film with either a lump in my throat and drying tears off my face or a general sense of glee.

Sure, the reasons behind said emotions are rather clicheed, but in all honesty, that's why I watch films; emotions. Many of which can be felt through acts I've seen before; misunderstood person learning about oneself, the coming of age, bickering within family etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and will now try to find the Live Aid performance.

The last 20 minutes were spectacular! To be there in person must’ve been something!

I am a huge fan of Queen and classic rock, so naturally I was extremely excited for this movie. It was not a perfect film, and as far as biopics, or more specifically music biopics go, there are certainly better, however I thoroughly enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody. Rami Malik gives the performance of the year, and for that reason alone you should check out this film. The concert scenes in this film are top notch, especially the Live Aid scene. See this movie on the biggest screen with the best sound system possible.

Why did I just watch a reenactment of the Live Aid concert? That was kind of hilarious. Because you know, you can watch the actual real thing..

There are no words to describe a performance so brilliant as the one given by Rami Malek.
