The life story of controversial Polish director Walerian Borowczyk, told with eerie narration and a B&W procession of surreal, inventive imagery. The story is broken into chapters headed by words from A to Z -- somewhat reminiscent of Peter Greenaway's obsessions. It never became as amazing as I hoped, but it's well worth seeing.
