someone suggested this movie to me as one of the best "high school" films. NO
this was a pretty good movie, but not anywhere near the best high school movie. For starters, its not really about high school. Its mostly about superficial conflicts that rise and fall all in a night of a teenager. The story arch, while entertaining, were inconsequential and trivial. Only Seth Green's arch had any meaning to something bigger than just the party in relation to growing up.
It was an entertaining enough movie. Nothing laugh out loud but filled with quirks and excitement to keep me interested. The characters where a bit on the exaggerated side, but still likable. It's PG13 rating makes it great for those that wanna see a teen-sex-comedy without actual sex content (ie, American Pie, Superbad, etc).
