boring movie & its nice to see nick fury in action ,some action sequences are good....(6/10)

Absolutely brilliant!! My eyes were fixed on the screen from start to finish. Great action scenes and an epic post-credit scene! So far this has to be the film of the year for me. It will have to contend with Godzilla, The Amazing Spiderman 2 and a few other blockbuster movies but it is definitely in contention for me!

Total non-stop action, drama, an intricate plot, great humor, bad-ass villains = an 8.6 on IMDB! (subject to change)

It is an improvement for the type of movie.
But let's be honest: it is far far far way from being a good movie.
So much money, so much good actors, and it all adds to almost nothing.
Look what woody Allen has done with Scarlett in Vicky Barcelona. What a waste of talent!

Felt like a Jason Bourne movie with superheroes than a full-on Marvel movie. Heck, there's even a spoiler

Towards the end, it turned into a Big Dumb Action Movie and seemed to have forgotten the political subtext and spy/espionage altogether.

good film but not that great. definitely the best in marvel phase 2 so far though.

good plot with good intrigue and a decent twist in the middle. action was quite good though the shaky cam was a bit unwarranted. i wish action directors filmed action better with long cuts. the edits are too close these days. acting was solid all around.

but the 3d is entirely wasted. this was converted so save some money and go 2d instead

if you're not a cinecritic, you'll enjoy the hell out of this. personally it was not as great as i had hoped but still had a good time

Great action sequences. It's hard to believe how many crowd pleasers Marvel are making - they must be the most successful studio of the last 50 years. Entertainment is what people want and these movies give it to them, plain and simple!

For a film called 'The Winter Soldier', he appeared very little in it! Some really nice special effects (as should be expected these days), but the story was all over the place. The film was far to long and overly complicated for the story it was trying to tell. Black Widow really seemed 'off' in this film as well, she didn't seem like the same charactor as in the other films she appeared in.

The film could really of done with another pass though the cutting room to clean up the flow of the film and remove alot of useless scenes that simply wern't needed to progress the story. 6/10

Of course this gets deleted from the Thriller list when it's more of a thriller than an Adventure movie. They sure did explore the exotic locale of the lost continent of New Jersey didn't they? These imdb lists are so random.

Surprisingly engrossing while sticking to the Superhero formula. A high watermark for the series.
