I grew up loving the book, so for me it felt like something was missing from the plot (the backstory was different, but that didn't bother me). It was too predictable. Still, the visuals were great.

I liked the idea of a disaster movie but with food. Awesome visuals and all. But why did they have to throw a love interest in there, that's such an overused trope.
