I enjoy an excentric, silly film, but damn, this shit tested my roof for what is enough over-the-top for me. Anyway, many times the movie is not as funny as it's supposed to be, but definitely it's an improvement over the first one. Here the stonerish, fantastic premises of Redbull and cocaine are left behind for plain and simple suspension of belief, which in my taste works better. In the same way, the humor depends more on gratuitousness than in tropes (or dumb ass stereotypes) directed to a very determined demographic. Not that the tone of both movies are two complete different things, but when you have a weak concept and you have to work in it for a sequel, you can actually end up giving it some content, as imo happens with the Fast and Furious and American Pie franchises.
Damn, and that's coming from someone who liked Natural Born Killers. Think I should recheck what is enough over the top for me maybe? Anyway, the movie has more legit funny parts than the other one, especially
the sex scene.
Usually Jason statham films are fun to watch but this movie ... oh god it's just awful...
to see which of your friends have seen this movie!
