really good for its genre - I don't normally enjoy romcoms but this one is clever and unique. a breath of fresh air. however: I didn't like its portrayal of women, and that definitely detracted from my enjoyment of the film. still, worth watching.

Would have been more interesting if it focused on Gosling and Carrell instead of the whole family Unit.

Let's just say I came into this with very low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually really good. Great cast, great execution. It's a shame these types of movies get overlooked during oscar season, because this movie should definitely be a contender.
