'One late autumn night, the disciple woke up crying. So the master asked the disciple, "Did you have a nightmare?"
"Did you have a sad dream?"
"No," said the disciple. "I had a sweet dream. "
"Then why are you crying so sadly?"
The disciple answered quietly, while wiping his tears, "Because the dream I had can't come true."'
This is the saddest K-revenge flick ever. Now I get why it's titled "Dalkomhan insaeng" lit. "The Sweet Life." :(
I could spend a lot of time praising the things that make this movie great, like how great it looks, how good the acting is, how I simply adored the music and how successful it is in doing something refreshing with its heavily established genre. But let's just say, and I don't say this often, that this is an absolutely sad and beautiful film.
A disciple asked his master, "Do the leaves flow or is it the wind?"
His master replied, "No, it is the heart and the mind."
