Another shitty one from this guy, I have maintained it that his movies are a spectacle but not worth watching. I dont know how you can see 2 hours of fish and birds.elcid
As If it would be someone be impressed by some beautiful pictures, sentimental causes or horror scenarios.None of the major nations or corporation cares about.
Therefore this film will be forgotten in a couple of years.

streaming on Netflix.A warning that hopefully mankind is smart enough to hear.

Starts of with nuclear scare mongering. Great way to promote the only feasible solution to climate change.Jace Lightner
The solutions David provides are feasible and provides genuine hope. In the film, there isn't a critique of the capitalist model that is inherently incompatible with the integrity of the planet. Only if we move away from a consumption oriented anti economy into a resource based economy whereby technological innovations can provide abundance, only then can we ensure the planet's synergy and survival of the human species. Also, quick note, the issue isn't with overpopulation but rather, with over consumption
Gunness
The film elegantly weaves DA's career and wildlife experiences into a larger, disturbing narrative. Things are looking grim, and he's been there along the way to witness it.The uplifting part is that he offers advice on how to - at least partially - lessen the effects on our planet.
Of course, the risk is that he's only preaching to the choir. After all, the film has been produced in collaboration with the WWF. But here's hoping that it gains a large audience. With every risk of sounding like a broken record, I think this is an important film.
