@groveremote this movie was made at a time, when we didn't have same sex romance on screen without suicide. This film was needed as much then as it is now. It is a great romantic film and it doesn't need to be more than it is - because it means everything. And on top of it it is so well-executed (like you said) despite being a self-funded indie.
