Probably the worst movie that I've seen in the '100 Greatest Films of Australian Cinema' so far. I'm guessing it only really made the list as it marked the on screen debut of Michael Hutchence who, unsurprisingly, performed several musical numbers throughout the film.
The plot is insipid, the acting underwhelming, and the photography very uninspired. Long tracking shots seemed to be used in excess simply for the sake of it.
That said, the film did have some rather funny moments; mostly intentional.
