Expunge all thoughts you may have about this being anything but exceedingly remotely connected to the eponymous videogame franchise.
There are some weak nods to Doom and id Software, but since the current IP holders Bethesda would have nothing to do with this project, it's just general videogame references that could fit into any sci-fi movie. There's not a single mention or credit given to either game companies.
Looking beyond the videogame non-connection, what's left is a low-end sci-fi horror thriller with the usual drivel.
Ridiculous plot, two dimensional characters, illogical script, clunky dialogue, arbitrary exposition dumps and tropes galore.
It's not completely terrible, I'll give it that. It's a long way from good or even decent. Some ok action and the visuals aren't shabby, and the lead actress isn't too bad... but it probably isn't worth your time.
It looks and feels much like a fan film, except where everyone involved was afraid to reference anything Doom for fear of getting sued. Just go watch the first film with The Rock.
BFG 9000 has a triangular shape you so$% of a gun!!
As a lifelong doom fan, I have to say watching the paint dry would be a far more greater achievement than sitting through this shi*show. I saw the Rock doom movie a few times and I have to admit that this version makes the Rock one look like a masterpiece! I mean like since when in the doom realm we have zombies? like what the f*&@? Have the producers watched Resident Evil the night before? There are no Zombies in the Doom realm you retards! there are demons. So one species of demons from the Doom 2015 were in this movie, but they cant be killed??? Whyyy? Since when the demons are bulletproof? Did you ever even played any of the Doom games for a minute? I seriously doubt it. Everybody needs to stay at least a mile away from this garbage, go to the park and have a walk instead caz that would be definitely more productive than losing a 90 minute of your life you are never getting back.
to see which of your friends have seen this movie!
