A revolutionary point of American Cinema. "Easy Rider" brings to us an amazing performance by the leading duo, especially Hopper, and a class act by the young Jack Nicholson. Hopper's masterpiece studies on many of the social problems on the American society at this time, about tolerance and fear of change. Some of the messages in "Easy Rider" still stand strong after almost 50 years. I recommend It!

Great scenery and soundtrack, but the script was atrocious.

Honestly, I'm glad I watched it, so I never have to watch it again. Not even Nicholson could save this.

Pretty dull until Jack Nicholson shows up (That scene at the commune made me want to tear my hair out from boredom). The ending is still awesome, though.

Very cool. Still felt fresh after 40+ years and despite the now much repeated subject matter. Great deal of unorthodox editing was interesting to see; a drug-infused surreal sequence towards the end of the film was particularly surprising (in a good way).
Three vastly different but equally cool performances from the leads too and a great rock soundtrack.
I didn't however like the ending, it felt like unnecessarily forced closure. (spoiler)

A couple of stoned guys doing a movie about a couple of stoned guys...
Jack Nicholson saved a bit but overall is a waste of time.

God bless Jack Nicholson in this movie.

I've included this one in my list of best films from the New Hollywood era.
