Influential for the groundwork it would lay for the slashers that were just around the corner. This movie should be pure joy for horror film junkies. One kill in particular where a head is busted open just looks wonderful. And the ending is one of the great WTF moments in horror film history.

Fantastic Film. Best of Bava so far by far. Better then Lisa and the Devil as well as Blood Baron! Wow, I can see how this movie paved and shaped the road of Slasher films.

Pretentious crap. Implausible plot, wooden performances, the characters are not developed, it seems they were all born killers, most of all they don't even blink when they kill. This movie was all about the chills of the killings, which even these somehow escaped me. I think if there was a ridiculousness prize, one would be difficult to choose between the entomologist and the Tarot reader... What a flop!

Terrible. One of the earlier slasher movies, but by no means essential, despite what it may have done for the genre. Plot is boring, lost interest way too quickly.

Kills were decent though. The constant zoom shots were distractingly bad, but maybe that's just me.

Ending was awful as well; I would have been very annoyed if I was enjoying the movie up to that point only to be shown that disaster of a conclusion.
