Great characters, epic plot, nice action sequences and the best cinematography of the whole MCU. But the movie lacks something. The plot takes questionable directions in favor of unexpected twists, but those twists are less interesting than the promised conflict. Maybe the slow, introspective and semi-documentary style that Zhao has built in her carreer, would have worked better without focusing that much on subverting our expectations. Eternals is what TLJ was for Star Wars fans, a stylish and risky movie that fails to represent the spirit of the franchise.CodeV
Next great story in the Marvel Universe. You will meet a group of Earth keepers, each one with a superpower. But it is the matter of choices which side is good and which side is bad and are all the Eternals together or not ...Fighting scenes with Deviants have solid action and all the movie was interesting to follow. Best role award goes to Gemma Chan.

Stop calling it boring! It was good movie. I can only agree on cutting about 15-20 minutes of some unnecessary material but it is just cosmetics in solid story with great visuals.bionysos

This one is pretty bad guys and deserves to be the first rotten MCU film. Boring characters and plot. For about 3/4 of the runtime the characters are just sitting around and keep repeating that they have to find the other eternals. About halfway the film it gets revealed what's really going on but none of it makes any sense. The deviants they fight in present day have nothing to do with the plot and are just there for the occasional action scene. Kitt Harrington asks one of the eternals early in the film why they didn't help in the fight agains Thanos and they tell him that the eternals cannot intervene unless it has something to do with the Deviants, otherwise the progression of the human race could be altered. But then later we see that the eternals influenced humanity on many diferent occasions, so that doesn't make any sense. There's so much dumb and pointless shit in this film. It's too long and too boring. Also I was on the side of Icaris, that was the most logical.IgnacioM
