Not sure how they haven't been done for plagiarism. The monster is identical to the clickers from The Last of Us. They even click, which was an aspect of TLOU design which was completely unrelated to the fungus aspect. This indicates just straight up copying and a real lack of creativity. 2 years 10 months ago -

I actually liked this movie. It was relaxing to watch and it even had a deeper meaning. I wouldn't put it in the horror genre though. More thriller/fantasy maybe? I also think a 7/10 is a generous rating...
Anyways, the ''fungus monsters'' are an exact copy of the ''clickers'' from the game ''The Last of Us''. And the idea of eating a mushroom to prevent you from turning into a ''clicker'' is definitely very similar to the game ''SOS the ultimate escape'' (this game has been shut down and is unavailable to play) where you can get infected if you are hit by the ''monster'' in that game and you have to eat mushrooms to prevent from turning into that monster yourself. So, it's fun to see it in a movie form, but definitely unoriginal...
Still a nice movie to watch if you're looking for something different than the usual ''Hollywood'' movies. 2 years 8 months ago
