Pacing- and stylewise very akin to Unbreakable. If you go in expecting superhero showdown Avengers-style, you will be sorely disappointed. I mostly liked it even though I was surprised about a lot of the elements.

And as 'tomsalad' said, James McAvoy is just magnificent. Absolute powerhouse performance, a joy to watch. One moment menacingly serious, the next comically silly. Just incredible acting. 5 years 7 months ago
