Seen a lot of it before, but definitely the best put together documentary I've seen on the subject.sureup
By far the most extensive documentary on scientology. We start off in its science fiction creation and get to see everything up until what hopefully is its downfall. It covers almost everything. To get the more information I would recommend the Panorama documentaries by John Sweeny and "First Cut: Scientologists at War (2013)" as you get to see more of their dirty tactics in action.

Reinforced my belief that Scientology is a cult of personality, and a haven for people with undiagnosed psychopathy. If you think about it, aren't all religions?Spawnhellraiser
I didn't know a lot about Scientology other than it being cult-like and for the rich. The poster boys and some celebrities associated with the religion always seemed to have messed up personal lives or mental instability that I didn't think anyone got real peace out of it except for boosting financial gain. This documentary spilled the BS beans of Scientology to Tee. They are so exposed to the point where if anyone joins after seeing this, they are not joining to improve or start a healthy lifestyle or help others but are in it for pure toxic reasons.

No, all religions are not like Scientology. That is made abundantly clear in the documentary- as well as in observed life.Earring72
Insightful documentary about the cult scientology and it's strange actions.TeaDrinker3000
Quite extensive, worth a watch for those interested in the subjectBigAwesomeBLT
Not as gripping as I thought it was going to be. I knew a lot of the points but it was still interesting to see some of the key players and their stories.Interesting now that Tom Cruise is thinking of leaving the church.
I can see how this sort of thing picks up in the states but don't quite understand how it spreads to the rest of the world.
Not worthy of a two hour runtime and quite a lot drags or is drawn out. Would recommend for anyone interested in the subject, but not to the general viewer.

I believe that no religion is wrong. You can believe anything you want and it has just as much credibility as any one else's religion. However, if you're a Scientologist, you're an idiot. Scientology is not a religion, it is a cult.
This documentary does a good job of explaining how Scientology came to be, as well as why it is so hard to destroy. They have amassed a wealth of money and influence that they can operate in blackmailing, bribery, and espionage, all under the first amendment right.

Good topic but poorly executed. Not very impressed.
